He was captured and imprisoned by the Empire above Tatooine. Three years later he received his first visitor, a woman seeking information about Yoda, who she knew was in hiding. She tortured him and used a mind control device to learn that the Jedi Master was somewhere in the Sluis Sector, where Dagobah was located.
