Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: Who is this man in the new trailer for Andor? I’ve seen a lot of fans wondering if he could be related to Chancellor Valorum from The Phantom Menace. Or wondering if he is Finis Valorum himself. No, the captions for the trailer list this character as Tay Kolma, a new character to Star Wars. That said, I do like the idea of Valorum’s son or something appearing in this series. I think it would be interesting to explore a political family. And in Star Wars Legends, Finis Valorum did come from a long line of politicians. Tarsus Valorum was the Supreme Chancellor during the time of Darth Bane, and has been mentioned in the canon book Tarkin. I think another Valorum in the Imperial Senate, someone who had a political vendetta against Palpatine for his role in the vote of no confidence would be a great inclusion to the cast.
