The FIVE Lightsaber Combat Stances in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - New Details | Star Wars Explained

Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: This morning Game Informer released a new interview with Star Wars Jedi Survivor game director Stig Asmussen. In it, he provided more details on the new lightsaber fighting stances Cal Kestis will get to use. Each will provide a unique combat advantage for certain situations. The first is the standard, single blade stance from Fallen Order, which is seen throughout the trailer. I expect the double blade stance will also return, which was better against groups of enemies. The separated, dual blade stance is new to Survivor, seemingly favoring speed over power. The article confirms the blaster and lightsaber combination, which adds some range to the player’s arsenal, and Asmussen comments on how it speaks to Cal’s characterization as an unconventional Jedi in unconventional times, using techniques the Jedi Order would have frowned upon. Finally, we have the crossguard stance, which favors power over speed.
