Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: Did you know Star Wars has a holiday similar to Thanksgiving? Young Jedi Adventures showed us a harvest feast called Dunkutu Day on the planet Omaka where citizens of the small world would gather together to eat large vegetables called gomgourds that they would harvest by hand. A young girl named Fiorna explained Dunkutu Day was a time to give thanks for their family and for all the food they are able to grow. When the young Jedi visited Omaka, they learned about the planet’s traditions and what made them special, but *also* helped them see that it’s okay for traditions to evolve and change if they are outdated and become exclusive.
