George Lucas Knew How Darth Vader Was Injured in 1977 - Star Wars Explained #Shorts | Star Wars Explained
Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: Did you know George Lucas had the idea for Darth Vader’s injuries occurring in a volcanic pit as far back as August 1977? He described the scene to Rolling Stone to explain why Vader needs a suit and breathing mask. The Sith Lord’s injuries were referenced again in some materials surrounding Return of the Jedi, after Vader and Anakin became the same character. And, of course, we finally saw it happen on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith, nearly thirty years after Lucas first spoke about it. #shorts --- Subscribe for more Star Wars videos every day! --- Support the channel: https://www.patreon.com/starwarsexplain Second channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5KUexDNjIDcGPz4nAY9mBw Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@starwarsexplain Alex on Twitch: https://twitch.tv/alexdamonlive Mollie on Twitch: http://twitch.tv/molliedamon Instagram: http://instagram.com/starwarsexplained Twitter: https://twitter.com/StarWarsExplain Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/starwarsexplained Discord: https://discord.gg/ZPwEnDT Star Wars Tees: http://shrsl.com/?~9i83 Mailing Address Star Wars Explained 1227 Rockbridge Rd SW Ste 208 PMB 264 Stone Mountain, GA 30087
