Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: Do you know the backstory of Rebellion General Crix Madine from Return of the Jedi? He was first a general in the Galactic Empire, leading a commando unit, but he eventually defected to the Rebel Alliance to take his skills to the growing insurgency against his former faction. His experience with commandos led to his specialization in covert strike teams to steal from or infiltrate the Empire. After the Battle of Endor the Rebel Alliance became the New Republic. During a Liberation Day celebration on Chandrila, Imperial sleeper agents were activated, and they began an attack on several high ranking New Republic officials. Crix Madine was rumored to have perished there, but his death has yet to be confirmed. For some fun facts, Crix was considered to be an alternate Rebel leader that would have featured more prominently if Admiral Ackbar’s prosthetics didn’t work on camera.
