Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: The T-70 X-Wing is the primary starfighter used by the Resistance in The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. It was first created for the New Republic, with a prototype built just before the Battle of Jakku and the end of the Galactic Civil War. It was used by the New Republic navy for a time, but was eventually replaced by the T-85 X-Wing. As the First Order threat grew in the shadows, Leia Organa was granted permission to use the outdated starfighter in her small Resistance.
