Did You Know Owen was Originally Obi-Wan's Brother - Star Wars Explained #Shorts | Star Wars Explained
Report from the Holocron of Xela. Description: Did you know Owen Lars was originally going to be Obi-Wan’s brother instead of Anakin’s? I first learned that in the 90s from the customizable card game, but it was first mentioned publicly in the novelization for Return of the Jedi. Obi-Wan even states that he and Owen were brothers in the screenplay, but the dialogue was cut from the film, leaving room for Owen’s relationship to change in the prequel films. #shorts --- Subscribe for more Star Wars videos every day! --- Support the channel: https://www.patreon.com/starwarsexplain Second channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5KUexDNjIDcGPz4nAY9mBw Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@starwarsexplain Alex on Twitch: https://twitch.tv/alexdamonlive Mollie on Twitch: http://twitch.tv/molliedamon Instagram: http://instagram.com/starwarsexplained Twitter: https://twitter.com/StarWarsExplain Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/starwarsexplained Discord: https://discord.gg/ZPwEnDT Google+: http://goo.gl/Q3gDkY Star Wars Tees: http://shrsl.com/?~9i83 Mailing Address Star Wars Explained 1227 Rockbridge Rd SW Ste 208 PMB 264 Stone Mountain, GA 30087
